until this morning michael jackson was known worldwide as a pedophile. cmon just because he is dead *yay* doesnt mean we have to tarnish his memory and make him any different than he was.

yes he was money went along way and he had none when he died, also its more the fact that all opinions were negative about him any time before he died and now to every one every where hes the king. just the death curse where everone jumps on and goes he was great so not to look like a feeling less bastard, im just saying it how it is.

tell you the truth i thought he was a nut job. i liked his music.

but you look at his childhood. forced into fame at 8 years old. i feel sorry for him. or i used to.

my issue isn't that you are critasising him when he is dead and you're not showing him respect now.
but more that we should have shown him more respect while he was alive.

he had issues. some alot bigger then most people would have.
but we all have problems. stop trying to judge his flaws and start concentrating on your own.

yeah its all about me...right.
my point is as you said "but more that we should have shown him more respect while he was alive"...if he was worth it when hes dead. i know he was a great musician and had huge issues. the point is all the two faced asses that come running that wernt seen when he was alive. just cause hes dead doesnt make him less of anything he did when he was alive. if i called a reunion for george w bush no one would come(bar those small group that do) if he died so many people would sing as well as the bit hoorah from the government. same point,

FAQ #104: How to increase My page views

:icondancingkoalas:
some people are so affected by death that they think it is worth mourning for. even if they didn't even like the person who died. they still died.

so a lot of people are mourning the concept of death and being over empathetic to his and his family's situation. because they know they would feel devastated and would want sympathy if a family member of theirs died.

not everyone handles death in the same way

and what i meant by:
"but more that we should have shown him more respect while he was alive"
was that maybe you should be less critical of people that you don't like when they are alive.

remember that this was someones father, someones brother, someones son, and a lot of peoples idol.

true. maybe i wasnt swayed either way when he was alive so his death isnt a concern of mine, i was simply making the stated point. as i had also stated i didnt dislike his music and so forth just the circus that followed. alot of people openly desecrated him when he was alive and now have gone "oh but he was the greatest bla bla blah." is all lets not forget our opinions of some one when they were alive, just because they die. if some one is bad mouthed without knowing when theyre alive they can be also when theyre dead. its just as much bad taste now as then.

i agree with you.

people shouldn't change their minds about someone just because they die.

but i think it is considerate to understand why some people do.
